Welcome to

Nature Challenge Central Texas! 

This challenge began on April 2 and will end on July 8, 2011. 

Here is how to play:

*Register for Nature Challenge Central Texas by clicking on the REGISTRATION button above

*21 sites in the Central Texas area have activities (Missions) for your team to complete by Friday, July 8, 2011

*To access the Missions, click on each of the site names on the right side of this page

*Print out the Mission that you wish to complete, visit the site and complete your Mission

Once you complete a Mission: 

-You will receive a sticker for each mission that you complete

-Create a scrapbook, assembled as creatively as you like, of all the missions that your team completes

-SCRAPBOOKS are the primary basis for the judging of prizes.  You must submit your scrapbooks to the Austin Nature and Science Center by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2011

-Go to the online community and blog about your Nature Challenge adventures

-Attend the closing ceremonies at the Austin Nature and Science Center on Saturday, July 16 from 11-1.  Prizes will be awarded to teams in the following categories:

-Most missions accomplished

-Most sites visited

-Most creative scrapbook

-Most active blogger
